They’re a splinter group of The Patriotic Popular Front (PPF) who in turn split from the Peoples Popular Patriotic Front (P3F). But the real bad guys are The Front of Patriotic People (FPP). They meet every Tuesday at Arbys where they get a Armed Insurrectionist discount!
@MartinDaubney
If Craig’s got 30 years in, like me (27 years) he should have no problem with accom and food. I suspect Craig’s just trying to make a political point and is actually living very comfortably off his armed forces pension.

I remember looking at the chemical rainbows on the lifeless polluted River Mersey in the 70s. Recently I’ve enjoyed watching the Kingfishers, Herons and Cormorants on the banks of that same river with its plentiful supply of fish. Shame on you both.
@DrEilidhMaria
All the tools, van, fuel and insurance are paid for by the plumber. Imagine qualifying as a doctor only then to learn people get sick in the evening whilst you’re relaxing trying to watch Grey’s Anatomy. Very Inconsiderate!
@squeezyjohn
My brother worked importing goods (sanitizers, packaging and PPE) from China for almost 30 years. His company has all the necessary import/customs licenses and is a UK based tax paying SME. The Gov/NHS supply never responded once to their enquiries or warnings of substandard PPE
@nazirafzal
Good advice. However, it is amusing how many BBC presenters have been posting random tweets in the last 24 hours clearly seeking to show it’s not them.
@GyllKing
Met armed officers are in effect saying, “if I make a split second mistake protecting the public I may face decades in prison”. As volunteers they are also saying, “fuck that, you do it if you wish, I’m out”.

Belgrade ?
Over 8000 murdered by Serbs.
Over 800,000 refugees fleeing Serb aggression.
500 civilians tragically killed by NATO.
Result: NATO saved many thousands of lives by stopping Serbian ethnic cleansing, terror and inhumanity.

The Forces need to tread carefully here. Relaxing standards may produce results in terms of numbers but may also result in less motivated service members. If it’s easy to join its will be easy to leave. The kudos and pride of service will be lost as it becomes just another job.

Could be true. I was in Blockbuster 15 years ago and grabbed a Gilmore Girls box set at the same time as Tyson did. We had a bit of back and forth until I reached for a large popcorn and hit him with it. He went down like a sack of spuds, missed the count and Rory’s first kiss!

I’m 60(and a half!) and retired a few years ago. I decided to apply for a entry level job last month. However, the application process and trying to fashion an appropriate CV was a pain. So I made a brew and went to bed instead 😂

Any driver who enters a broken line “hatched area” to pass me safely is a considerate driver in my book. By all means report drivers that endanger you, but sometimes Alan it’s better to have a day off rather than waste people’s time with non events.
@MilitaryBanter
Following an exercise I took part in, the Armoury reported there was an SLR missing. A couple of hours later it was found in a harbour area we had occupied the previous night. Along with the SLR we also found a LCpl fast asleep in his NBC kit that nobody had thought to mention 😂

Went with my wife to see the Red Arrows last year. Incredible; the near misses, the oohs and aahs of the crowd, the screaming engine noise…anyway eventually she managed to reverse the car into a spot and we got to see the show!

Shameful. I went into a recruiting office in Manchester in 1980. In that office I passed a medical, signed a contract, swore an Oath and was off to the selection centre in Sutton Coldfield all within one month. That said I decided the army wasn’t for me so left after 27 years 😂

Those Russians troops in Transnistria may have had access to Western media denied to their colleagues in Russia. I suspect they won’t be relishing a fight, it has the potential for a catastrophic failure and could even pave the way for a greater reunified Moldova.
@alisonkatebr
I visit the 🇳🇱 every year and sadly you are spot on. The contrast between clean, well planned Dutch towns and the dirty, depressing and chaotic UK is stark. Watch Dutch kids cycle to school; chatty, smart and happy. Whereas Brit kids, dressed as gangsters, always seem depressed.
@BladeoftheS
Surely a super injunction is not compatible with an appointment to the HoL. Our upper house is no longer credible (was it ever?) and those appointed wear their ennoblements as a badge of shame.

Johnson, “No10 is a cramped narrow 18th Century Townhouse”.

It may not be a direct result of Brexit per se. It’s the lies and hypocrisy of the Govt that is being highlighted. It’s a fact that Johnson promised vat cuts on fuel as a Brexit benefit. That benefit, as with farming and fishing benefits, has not materialised, nor will they.

They could have a dedicated unit for recruits from NI. It could be called something like; The Irish Rep… no not that. How about The Irish National Libe…no not that either. I know, The Ulster Volunteer… ah crap! You may have a point!

Ernest Saunders of “Guinness Four” infamy also had an astonishingly rare medical condition. It was a strain of Alzheimer’s disease that earned an early release from jail. He then became the only man in history to recover. I understand having money and powerful connections helped.

The treadmill at my local gym looks down to a traffic light controlled T junction. To alleviate the boredom of my 30 minute workout I like to count how many drivers run red lights or are using their phones. 66 in 30 mins is my record.

So do we have the training facilities, accommodation, instructors to train tens of thousands of recruits each year? This hasn’t been thought through and will never see the light of day. But, it will be welcomed by grey haired Tories who believe it will fix anti social behaviour.

Interesting. You wouldn’t be able to ask that question of an indigenous Crimean today though. They were all deported several decades ago by the Soviets. The ethnic cleansing continues to this day, targeting Crimean Tatars. A shared history of Soviet/Russian brutality perhaps.

My favourite song is the one where the lead singer sings earnestly whilst strumming his guitar, then it all gets shouty and all the instruments join in the cacophony of anger before going quiet again. That’s my favourite!

My Father-in-Law was stationary at a junction on his bike when a driver ploughed into the back of him killing him instantly. The driver was found guilty and received a fine and points. Judges, jurors and solicitors are almost always drivers, seldomly cyclists. Licence to kill 🤬

How much do they need? I mean, I consider myself very lucky to have my £20k army pension; I want for nothing. But billionaires spending all their energies avoiding paying for hospitals, armed forces, police should not be in politics.

I saw someone keying a black cab yesterday. Not going to report it though, wouldn’t want to be a grass! Pretty sure the cabbie will only need to spend £500 of his own money on repairs.

My dentist of over 20 years went private last year. I’ve stayed with them because I have no choice. What angers me now is that with every appointment I also have to endure the hard sell of some random costly treatment that they couldn’t be arsed to do when I was an NHS patient.

As well as speaking German, we’d be forced to drive Mercs and BMWs, win at football, eat curry wurst and our women would spend all day dressed in a Dirndl serving chemical free beer in a huge Pilstulpe. Thank God we…checks notes.. won the war… apparently 🤔

In 82 I was buying a pint for about 50p. So that £1 would buy me two pints (learned maths on my EPC course).
To buy those two pints today that £1 equates to about £10; not bad really.

Oh dear Mick, I also bought my first home in 1990. It was a little under 3x my annual wage. That same home today is about 10x the salary paid today for the same job. Even allowing for int rates this shows why property is out of reach for young people, despite what Allsopp thinks!

He’s right. We should be shipping everything from Dover. That way trucks will only need to go to Do…oh, hang on 🤔 ok if we put containers on migrating birds then we won’t need lorries and the A20 can be used as a lookout post by the Royal Navy to stop vikings and brown people!

Been there. Worked with lots of Craig’s, never happy, always moaning about something sucking the life out of his unit. Too many Vets promote the skills they gained in the armed forces on one hand and spend the rest of their retirement moaning that they can’t manage in civvy St.
