Thanks to 700WLW radio for having Thom co-host the Bengals pregame show with Chick Ludwick. Obviously, he still has alot of support in this town.Two broadcast outlets (along with Chatterbox) who were willing to do what no one else would do, locally or nationally.
@RapSheet
This injury is on Mike Brown and the grossly inept Bengals organization! Those people should be ashamed! They had months to give him an offensive line that could adequately protect this young man. I hope they all have trouble sleeping. The hell with 'em!
@stephenasmith
Great apologies, young man. I only wish my son's employers had been as forgiving as yours. Your words and sincerity were heartfelt. Keep up your good work.

One of the finest men I've ever known. Some of my fondest memories of doing UK basketball in the late '80s was the friendships I made with Bill Keightley and Joe B. He will be missed so much! God, I'm sure, has blessed him.
@redreporter
In my 46 years, I don't recall a larger September collapse than this team. The epithet should be , "Us against the world and the world won".
@dgravy32
@MLBONFOX
@BauerOutage
@Reds
Danny, I couldn't agree with you more. I think the "establishment" wants him viewed in a bad light because he speaks his mind. God bless him for doing it. I hope he keeps it up.
One of the truly nice people to ever put on a mlb uniform. Lou Johnson gone at 86. Used to come by our radio booth at Dodgers stadium and ask us to say hello to his Mom in his hometown of Lexington, Ky. Joe and I loved Lou as so many others did. God bless Lou Johnson.
@jsph1959
Absolutely! It is so hypocritical of MLB and the HOF. You can hardly turn around without seeing something he accomplished on the field. If you're not going to allow his name on a ballot, remove all mention of his name from the hall. It's ridiculous!
@TheRealJeffRuby
You and I go back almost 50 years. We were both poor as hell (lol). You're a great friend and no one does it better at what you do than YOU! And a wonderful family to boot. God bless you, pal.
@LanceMcAlister
When you have a closer who isn't getting it done, a manager has to put young pitchers in pressure situations they are not prepared for. I said when the season started, the bullpen was a potential major problem and I feel the same now.
The great former pitchers of the game must be scratching their heads when a team's ace, Blake Snell, is barely better than a 5 inning pitcher. It's a damn joke!
@redreporter
Reds will make a serious mistake giving up a bunch of its' future for a shortstop. Kyle Farmer has done a great job and isn't the reason the team is chasing Milwaukee.
@cammillerfilms
Cam, you so eloquently stated your love for Riverfront and you echoed my sentiments exactly. There was nothing attractive about it but it reflected the times and it's history overshadowed any other period in the team's history. In a rather strange way, I miss it still today.
@redreporter
Fine call on the HR by Jim Day. Jim is embracing the beauty of television. You don't have to talk all the time. We can see!! Jim, keep it up.
@Reds
@PNCBank
Reds have to win, at the least 3 of 4. No excuses for less and no looking at the Marlins as "dangerous " as a bail out if the Reds fail to win at least three.
@awfulannouncing
The Orioles should be ashamed of themselves. No malicious intent, whatsoever, on Kevin Brown's part. I guess the truth hurts. The Orioles are a minor league outfit for this move. They don't deserve to win anything.
@LanceMcAlister
He is as fanfriendly as any Reds player I can remember other than, possibly, Brandon Phllips. The way he reacts to fans is something that every player who puts on a MLB uniform should emulate. Sadly, they don't!
@sportswatch
@AndrewMarchand
God bless you, Gary, for making that call. It takes a great big set to say what you said. Not many club announcers would have done it.
@LanceMcAlister
If this team is really serious about being the 2nd wild card team, it has to sweep the Pirates. No, how we live each other, how we still have time, no how much faith we have in this team...make people accountable and stop kissing their butts!
@redlegnation
This is an absolutely ridiculous trade! To give up that much talent for potentially one season is irresponsible. As a fan, I hope this is pure fiction.
@Nicholaspkirby
They do not need a ss NOW. In the off-season, certainly take a look at it. I repeat, Kyle Farmer isn't the readon this team is now 7 back if Milwaukee. Tonight's loss is now the 13th or 14th time that bullpen has blown leads resulting in losses and people are harping on ss?
@MoEgger
The voting is spot-on although there are guys in our profession that think people tune in because they're doing the game. We're blessed because of the game; not the other way around.
@LanceMcAlister
Lance, your listening public thanks you. On a daily basis, no one is better prepared than you are. Judt keep it up, young man. Sports talk radio applauds you!
@LanceMcAlister
Mostly, because gets never learned to best utilize his speed. Never was inclined to learn the proper bunting techniques. It too bad because he's a good guy and we'll never know how good he could have been. Best CF defensively the Reds had in my time.
@joncoopertweets
Jon, all you say is correct but let's be completely honest and objective. If you think Biden is the long term answer, you're as delusional as Trump. Show me a viable and electable candidate from either party besides these two clowns.
@dbongino
He is painfully bad but that guy you support is much worse in alot of different ways. Truly unfortunate that neither party has a bona-fide, legitimate candidate that can lead this country in a manner that we've had in the distant past.
A big favor to all those who follow me on Twitter. My grandson Luke is up for Athlete of the Week for small school lacrosse players. We have 24 hours left in the voting. You can vote once an hour. Thank you so much.
@CBoxCasey
He's just a part of a very shaky Reds team, defensively. And you shouldn't learn at the MLB level. That should be done by the time you get here.
@bryce_spalding
Bryce, you're dead wrong! He made a decision that many GMs wouldn't have the guts to make. Senzel has been injured more often than not. Tyler Naquin has been a big contributor to this team. Right now. Senzel doesn't deserve to be here. So what that he's a number draft pick!
@raford3
As a former mlb announcer of 46 years, Robert, you are 1000% correct. You have an obligation to your listeners, not adhering to some damn superstition.
@BurrikksM
Not me...and YOU and your kind are the reason we have the division that exist in this country. Just because democrats don't think like you do doesn't make them bad people. But you love name calling like your leader does. Really too bad!
@redlegnation
More innings out of the starters! Have we heard that before? The mindset that 5 innings is fine simply will not work. Until that changes, nothing else will.
