So I did the maths based on the energy required to do that amount of damage
Worked out what your weight would need to be guessed you're height... And came out with your BMI being approximately 13,658
That's just not healthy ๐๐คฃ๐
@TiceRichard
Gammon confuses weather with climate ... Again.
And actually due to the slowing of the gulf stream north Europe will actually cool on average but also see bigger extremes.
I have someone suggesting I'm breaking GDPR by posting number plates (of bad drivers) to YouTube.
The lengths some of these people are going to in order to try to get me to stop is pretty nuts.
If only they put the same effort into making our roads safer!
@ShabbatSlalom
It does feel like they feel that some don't understand why insurance is required. Rather than the risks they see it being legally required for a car so it must be required for all road users.
Today I was told of a Facebook group chat where threats to my safety were made because I do operation snap submissions.
This will not be tolerated.
On the upside I expect fewer close passes. Attack me and I will use the full extent of the law.
Look at all these lovely people enjoying poole park now the road is closed, especially the kids in their "pedal" cars, active travel at its best, always good to start them young!
@GPMonmouthshire
its insane that these things arent legal. government need to get their act together and legalise them like they promised they would.
zero emissions
low carbon footprint
reduces congestion
low cost
safer than cars
FFS my 14 year old just got knocked off his bike going down hill at 20 mph, close passed due to on coming traffic clicked handle bars, woman stopped had a go at him for being in the middle of the road and drove off!
On hold to
@dorsetpolice
To report hit and run
@PompeyCyclist
Barely a month goes by that some form of fire is initially blamed on an EV but is later proven to be from something else (like an ice)
Latest one is the fire at Luton airport which certain outlets blamed on EV but later was shown to be a diesel range rover.
@GregHands
Well if you had not underfunded and suppressed wages for the last 12 years and handled the cost of living crisis properly by separating gas from renewables for electricity pricing and done a real windfall tax we wouldn't be in this situation would be! Stop shifting blame!
@MatTheExBot
@bridgeynet
@HylandIan
They are totally appreciated and needed but a short sound bite like that shown to thousands of people is incredibly powerful.
Why do we have to wait for injuries?
In fire alarms we do a risk assessment to decide what level of coverage is needed. We don't wait for a fire.
This assessment is based on fires that have happened elsewhere lessons learnt.
The war on drivers is the reason that it takes years of hard campaigning and a child being hit but a car to get a safe zebra crossing installed in this damned country.
Not content with hogging huge amounts of green space for their own private use they want all the road space too! Maybe they could repurpose a hole to a carpark or shock horror... Car share!
@Ellen_1887
Considering how well licensing and insurance works at stopping bad drivers I think it's a pretty terrible idea.
What is needed is better education of all road users but especially those who are the most risk to others.
@ediz1975
I thought he was perfectly respectful. Bus driver went down the "yeh but cyclists route" and failed.
Driver was in the wrong. I don't think the cyclist was angry. Fed up with cycle lanes being blocked by inconsiderate drivers who should know better.
20 mph blanket zone across
Bournemouth? No thanks!
๐ Some roads ( near schools), should be limited to 20mph.
๐ Residents can already apply for 20mph in their area if they wish.
๐This council proposal will slow all traffic down - including buses.

anybody else bored of hearing how groups are "anti car" its total rubbish, im anti dangerous drivers and anti people using residential roads to try to cut time off their commute.
i get told to "get a car" (have 2) its time you got a bike.
Well I have now been called antagonistic by the great Ashley.
My crime? Apparently riding primary and filtering through rush hour traffic.
Oh and im not a "proper cyclist"
@LBC
@NickFerrariLBC
There should be a travel ban full stop.
Why is it not ok to travel 30 mins to a beach but it's ok to travel hours in a plane with many others outside of your household bubble from another country?
Sorry... Not sorry... <Smug mode on>
Wife about to leave the house. Windows defrosted cabin temperature 20C seats and steering wheel warm and I'm still in my dressing gown ๐
@MikeyCycling
Definitely pursue this to the full extent of the law, we have already seen one person chased off social media this week for reporting illegal drivers.
They need to learn they will not get away with this.
@jacklaffey
If you are paying road tax you are being scammed.
If you mean vehicle tax then that is a tax on emissions. In which case we should be paying cyclists about ยฃ500 a year.
@LBC
@darrenadam
He thinks it's important because he and his chums have shares in office buildings in London that makes them millions
For everybody else working from home improves quality of life, spending time with the family reduces traveling costs and in a lot of cases increases productivity.
I'm going to add to this and say that if 20mph limits become more prevalent that e-bike assist speed limit gets increased from 16mph to 20mph. So that people carrying loads on less streamlined bikes can keep up with the traffic on those roads.
@CA_TimB
@ChrisGPackham
Fox hunting is illegal. Trail hunting seems to be just a smokescreen. IMO there's far too much footage coming out of hunts illegally hunting foxes for it to be anything else.
What Chris is saying isn't an opinion or Partisan evidence based facts.
@theJeremyVine
@LBHF
Wow the comments from people saying the bus is in the right.
Imagine being in a car and a bus coming down the outside, cutting into your braking zone and stopping as he cuts forcing you to stop and reverse to get past him.
@grangedarren
@coyleneil
He's doing a great service to society making the roads safer. Reducing policing costs and catching people that would not otherwise be caught. What do you expect your MP to do about it?
@LBC
@MatthewStadlen
Wow, reading the comments of others here, mental, she was just waking past him, all he had to do is stand up and block her path, certainly no need for him to manhandle her like that.
Green peace protestors aren't exactly known for their violence she was no threat to him!
@PooleMatters
Sorry... Can you remind me who cut the consultation short, opened key hole, had to then extend the consultation, ignored the results of that consultant which resulted in the threat of a judicial review?
Sorry but this is totally on you guys.
@WestcountryGent
@theJeremyVine
@carltonreid
Ok... So when my car was less than 3 years old it didn't need MOT. My car is an EV so pays no tax.
My bike is less than 3 years old, is zero emissions just like my EV and my house insurance covers it.
What's your point?
@JohnLiv76258769
@ClownWorld_
Imagine the cyclist was a car, if the caravan driver car ran into the back of that car driver whilst trying to overtake whose fault would it be?
@Stumufcok
erm? road tax? whats that then? my car is 0 "road tax" does that mean I cant use the roads either?
when was the last time you read the highway code?
@SonOfTheWinds
the obvious issue here is that the driver had a dark coloured car, definitely needs to wear hi-viz too so the cyclist can see them coming and "get the hell out of the way"
</sarcasm>
So this was just sent to me....
The reason for the REQUEST (not demand) is so they can request CCTV footage from the bus company of themselves for an opsnap report after the bus performed a dangerous overtake with this driver coming the other way.
Thanks for the publicity tho
Spent the day at Mudeford wood country centre. For the green tlc big bike revival funded by Cycling UK
Helping people learn basic bike maintenance and fixing bikes for people. Great to be getting people out on their bikes!
@LBC
of course he is, im sure he or his friends own some offices he lets out that are currently empty due to work from home.
fact is people like working from home at least some of the time.
@RichardWellings
Our first leaf was sold at 5 years old, still had 90% of its capacity. Our 2nd leaf is now 4 years old and over 100k miles also around 90% and been 100% reliable.
Also 8 year warranty!
Stop making crap up!

one of your listeners talked about hydrogen, depending on the source of the hydrogen its at best 1/3 the efficiency of battery electric and at worst total greenwashing

Chill dood. There's not what I'm saying at all. Canvassing is incredibly personal is not better or worse any more or less useful. It's just different.
I think the massage GMB is so powerful because the BBC don't say it because they know if they did Boris would bring defund fwd.
What a day... Still processing it. A few beers with friends helped greatly.
thank you to all that voted for me, thank you to all the volunteers that helped deliver.
My teenager, first time voting just congratulated me on becoming a "profession dickhead"
Climate crisis and high electricity prices are hurting us badly, its time to take a 2nd look at a wind farm off Poole bay.
lets conduct a public consultation
