Sorry, I'm all for clinical support needing a room but why has the JD hot desk room been taken over when there are offices elsewhere in this hospital that are not used overnight? Pre-op? Admin?

THIS was the reply I received after me emailing them out of courtesy to withdraw my application when I could have just done it on Trac. How not to handle complaints or faults in a system...
Phoned recruitment today re: post down South. Ready for a thread?
@SteveBarclay
@NHSEngland
Q: I haven't had a contract, when will I have/ should receive one?
A: we send them out one or two days before you start but sometimes up to a week before.

Anaesthetics training ✅
It's not been a smooth road but finally got there after a few round of applications.
For anyone who didn't get the outcome they wanted, happy to be dm'd & talk about what I did and opportunities out there if anaesthetics is your thing. So don't give up!
Just want to add the Consultant who interviewed and has been the contact emailed back asking if there was anything that could be done to remedy the issue. It's shouldn't be their job to do this when a WHOLE department is employed to deal with recruitment and these sort of issues!
A: It depends, it goes to a Manager to check if there is budget and they will need to authorsise this.
Q: Could that delay my start date then?
A: Yes, it could delay you starting your job.
Q: Doesn't sound like a very efficient systems does it?
A: No it isn't, I'm afraid.
🙄
X factor sob story, kinda. Not one to post me in little clothing publicly usually. 1st photo : Sept '20. 2nd photo : (today) Dec '22. As the year is ending, I'm thinking how far I've come post lockdown and a crap 2nd half of '21 and 1st half of '22.

Q: Can you confirm my salary?
A: needs to go through a salary adjuster to work out, so not currently.
Q:I've worked in NHS Scotland not England, will this adjuster know/ factor this in?
A: I don't know. They will contact you if needed to get more information
Q: What do I need to do to make the process quicker? Can I send documents in? What documents if so?
A: I'm not sure, likely a payslip
Q: Just one or a few months?
A: I'm not sure.
Q: And say my pay slips says I get paid X amount, I won't expect my new salary to be less?
@TheGirlSmith
Yes, the ID check is a requirement. Doing it face to face is not a legal requirement though. It's not reasonable for someone to spend over £ 100 in travel and potentially 2 days for soemtihbg that can be done online
Best of luck to all the new FY1s starting. Remember: Take your breaks. There's no such thing as a stupid question. If someone is rude / unhelpful to you, it's THEIR problem, take a breath and move on - you don't need that negativity. You'll do GREAT !!

Just F2s? I was the F3 and F4, so sorry, I get to celebrate the small wins and thank those who supported me when I finally get a NTN.
You are completely right about the MSRA though, I will agree there.
