Eamon Ryan fell asleep while voting against a pay rise for over 130,000 workers. Many of whom live a couple of pay checks away from not having a bed to sleep in due to the risk of homelessness. That's why people are mad, not just because he took a nap.

LIMERICK CITY had an unusual visitor this Easter Monday morning, as a young deer found itself trapped on Sarsfield Bridge. The deer was reported to gardai from Henry Street, as well as Rosie Campbell, of Animal Magic Wildlife Displays, a wildlife rescue centre.

When I started school, around the start of the 2000s, the kids used to play a game called "Beat the Kn*****" The kids organising the game put everyone from the council estates on the Traveller side - clearly not understanding what a Traveller was. We were six.

@paddycosgrave Your comments are making light of my success, and the success of many of my colleagues, who come from working class or welfare class backgrounds. I know better than anyone the reality of the barriers. But Tweets like this are going to do very little to break them, are they?

I would like to pay special mention to my amazing girlfriend @ericalouise_x for not leaving my said once. And the amazing medical staff who saw me, stitched me up, did an MRI and gave a private room all in under 8 hours. Take note @ULHospitals
