My stats as a Traveller woman are scary! I am now 42yrs blessed as only 50% of us reach 39yrs. 3% of us live past 65yrs. Our suicide rates 6x higher. These stats are old yet not shocking Irish Society into change! ???

Ive noticed a trend on Irish twitter when people talk about suicide hundreds,thousands of likes/RTs but when Travellers talk about 11% of all our deaths being suicide,82% of us affected by suicide in a population of 40,000 people, very little reaction.

Ireland is not Racist? When my husband and I were approved for a mortgage the bank advised us not to buy in the estate we had choosen as it was "known as the ghetto of the town full of non nationals" I replied "my kind of estate!" We are so happy here and made lots of friends.

Homeschooling is hard work! But spare a taught for Minceiri who dont have access to wifi being evicted from the roadside even in a pandemic or whose parents dont have the literacy skills needed to homeschool 💔

I just want to say thank you to all my followers for you solidarity and support. I joined Twitter as another means of raising the Traveller voice, there are millions of non Travellers on twitter ,very few Travellers , we need your support to raise our voices.
