Solitary confinement is psychological torture and ruins lives. Jails put people with mental health issues in solitary. Others for minor infractions. And DC uses it 3x the national average. That’s not only bad for them, it’s bad for public safety.

This is a great reality check on the Farm Bill by @TamarHaspel One additional point to reinforce is that specialty crops in general don't want subsidies. The market distortions that can result cause much more harm than good for fruits & vegetables. Its why we haven't asked.

The Today Show first reported curiously that a Cessna had hit the World Trade Center. I got in my car and drove to my office near Union Station. My now-wife called while I was driving to tell me about the plane. I said yes, it was a Cessna. She said "no….the second one."
