From West Dublin to West Belfast with love. Members of the IMPIC team travelled to the North to deliver gifts donated by the Islamic Centre of Ireland community to refugees in temporary accommodation there. Thanks to @CaoimhinOSF & the team at @Ogra_SF for helping arrange it all.

The Islamic Centre of Ireland Children's Choir began their daily practices for this year's event today, and chocolate is part of the deal. Freddos are now €0.40 each. This year's Eid may be the last to feature the choir unless some action is taken.

. @BBCNewsNI choosing to broadcast sectarian chanting is appalling. If a minority that makes up 40.8% of the population can be treated this way, we shudder to think what the BBC thinks of smaller minorities in the North.

@TheBull_McCabe There should absolutely not be any tolerance for someone who preys on young children. But this post doesn’t seem legit and is just propaganda. We couldn’t find the account of Marty Hannan and the lad is standing next to a black Audi while the reg is of a white Volkswagen.

In 2014, the newly elected DUP leader Edwin Poots vowed to pray for a man who said "Islam is a doctrine spawned in Hell." Muslim, POC, LGBT & other minority communities in the North must be respected and cherished. If they're aren't, we know where Poots' ideology was spawned.

IMPIC, our chairperson and our team will always stand for human rights issues. We have always spoken out against FGM, we stand for LGBT* rights, we have a better gender balance on our board than Dáil Éireann. I thought anti-vaxxers did their research?
