Our members from Blanchardstown held a joint agency checkpoint yesterday with our friends from @RSAIreland . When this truck driver pulled in to our stop, we found out that he has been disqualified from driving for 20 years. Needless to say he did not drive back out again.

About 10pm last night, Gardaí in Castleisland, Co. Kerry came upon this car being driven erratically. The young driver tested positive for cocaine and cannabis - that explains that. We figured out too that the car was neither taxed nor insured. #SaferRoads

We detected this car travelling at 135kph in a 60kph area on the Bohernabreena Road recently. We stopped them and it transpired that they were an unaccompanied Learner. They were arrested and will now have a day at court. #SlowDown

Gardaí have detected the driver of this car travelling 65km/h above the speed limit along the M9 on the outskirts of Carlow. The young driver had three passengers. He was arrested and has now been charged with dangerous driving. #SaferRoads
