In Accra for $40 they removed my weave, washed + conditioned, blow dried, and gave me large knotless butt length braids with the hair included. Yes, I’m moving back.
and this is why yall struggle to see men who abuse (mentally, physically, emotionally) women as “bad people,” there’s almost no real societal consequences or public condemnation for abusers!
Actual DC residents: Muriel Bowser’s leadership is detrimental to Black D.C residents, she is incompetent.

I think there’s a very clear difference between what people mean when they say “protect Black women” and Black women providing emotional labor for men in romantic relationships. Once again you’re being obtuse.
More people need to say the quiet part loud. Essence's choice to "feature" Raymonte in comparison to how they've interviewed Dre, who was on the trip, is clearly elitist.
They could have reached out to him for a quote. The article didn't even hyperlink HIS content.
