In partnership with @DublinPride our Traffic section crew installed a #Pride rainbow walk on Capel Street overnight, just outside Pantibar! 🌈 If, as expected, the rainbow walk is deemed a success, we plan to paint more in other city-centre locations next week. 🏳️‍🌈 #CityRecovery

As part of the Interim Liffey Cycle Route scheme, a cycle lane has been introduced on the right hand side of the North Quays. At junction; 1). Cyclists now get an advanced green light at junctions. 2). Car drivers turning right need to give way to cyclists going straight.

Today it's one year since the 1st traffic free trial took place on Capel St. 17 traffic free weekends and 12,000 submissions later Capel St is now permanently traffic free and at the start of a new era for the street. #CapelStreet
