Racing needs somebody to break through the wall. Smart people and change threatens the people in charge’s jobs and livelihood. That’s why both are non-existent in the industry. The dinosaurs with their hands on the reins need to be purged.

Influencers are not the solution. They would be more of the problem. The industry doesn’t need more hat-wearing, $2WPS bettors who come to the races for day drinking. The industry needs horse players. Horse racing doesn’t survive on the once a year partier in a fancy hat.

Andy is incredible. You must use the favorites on top in exactas, even if you hate them, “for a significant portion of your play” every time you like a longshot. Plus he says that hating a 4-5 shot is clouding your opinion when that is your BEST opinion. This can’t be real.

Gary Stevens said the the pace was so slow there was nothing Prat and Rougir could do. Bleecker Street was behind Rougir and won the race. Andy tried to tell him he’s a moron politely.

Now that you've got 1200 machines approved, do something historic and go to 10% takeout on all bets.....you guys are the lone hope of that in Illinois....Be heroic and become the leader in Illinois racing @HawthorneJim @clubhawthorne

People still have no understanding that it’s futile to market a product that is broken and overpriced.

Totally agree we need to invest in marketing of the sport and be proactive with PR. We need to grow our racing fan base.

Many people don't believe it or they can't get over the mental hurdle but if you are betting anything but just win then you are killing your ROI and killing the very small chance you have to win over the long run. $6W ROI $8.91 vs $6.98 for WPS $6W ROI $6.24 vs $5.79 for WPS

Proud of 2021 public handicapping so far for @DRFInsidePost (side note: abysmal showing last couple weeks at @fairgroundsnola )

NYRA is going to seed a future P-5 pool to atone for their mistakes. But they are going to raise takeout to 24% on the seeded pool.

Weird that Jena A screams/roots for the jockey and not her horse.

Just an FYI that Pimlico takeout on P-3/4's and Tri/Sup is an abominable 25.75%

It’s absolutely amazing how efficient horse racing is at getting negative tweets deleted made by people getting a paycheck in the industry. Always an hour or less & tweet is deleted due to bosses being called and threats to the employee to delete it. It’s what racing does best.

Why do the people who get a paycheck from racing make the passionate people who don't get a paycheck from racing that speak their minds without bias or fear attempt to make them feel like they should apologize for being passionate and speaking their minds?
