It’s important on this day, the anniversary of what I believe was a death warrant to thousands of elderly, to remind people of what happened. And the fact that, four years later, there is still no justice or accountability for their deaths.
If you’re attacking me with “weather girl doesn’t know much about anything except maybe weather” then you have no clue who I am, what my family has been through or what I am capable of. Bring. It. On.
I’ve had several people tell me to “simmer down” on this nursing home issue. That won’t happen. Because if not me, then who? I owe it to my family and those who don’t have voices to keep pushing for answers, accountably and hopefully change so this never happens again.
Attacking me for my job, education or what I look like won’t stop me from trying to get answers for thousands of families from
@NYGovCuomo
and his administration.
If Melania went and had her hair blown out at that hair salon in California while everyone else was not allowed, it would be the lead story on every channel. But because
@SpeakerPelosi
is the offender the other channels won’t cover it.
We weren’t allowed to have funerals for my husbands parents who both died of Covid in nursing/assisted living facilities or have a gathering to mourn them and yet it’s ok for protesters to get together in huge crowds without masks to tear and burn down big cities.
Note to all reporters interviewing
@NYGovCuomo
in the next few days: If you don’t bring up the fact that his health dept suddenly can’t find the records showing how many nursing homes residents really died in New York, you are not a real journalist.
I will never forget all you journalists and tv anchors who absolutely fell over yourselves with
@NYGovCuomo
coverage as your lord and savior. And now all of a sudden the knives are out. You all disgust me.
Wow. The amount of journalists/reporters etc. turning their nose up at the My Pillow Guy. I don’t care if it’s Kermit the Frog making masks for our medical professionals. This is a GOOD THING. So unless you’re doing something to help people, sit down.
Department of Justice Requesting Data From Governors of States that Issued COVID-19 Orders that May Have Resulted in Deaths of Elderly Nursing Home Residents
So
@NBCNews
@LesterHoltNBC
@TODAYshow
censored one of my friends who lost a loved one in a nursing home. She wanted to say “
@andrewcuomo
failed us” in the interview and they told her to say “New York failed us” instead. The mainstream is STILL protecting this guy. Disgusting.
I’ve had MANY people tell me that if I hadn’t spoken out about my husband’s parents’ Covid deaths and tweeted about
@NYGovCuomo
’s failings they would’ve never known because the mainstream media will never cover it. And that’s why I won’t stop talking/tweeting/yelling about it.
I would never wish this virus on my worst enemy. But many on this miserable place do. I wish we could all be human beings and say “Get well, Mr President and First Lady, Melania. Be safe, take care of yourselves and we pray that your family stays safe and well too.”
As the wife of a surviving member of the
@fdny
during the September 11th attacks, this is a disgrace. If you can have "peaceful protests" and the MTV music awards, you should be able to find ways to remember those who died on September 11th, 2001.
We won’t stop until there’s a REAL investigation into the nursing home massacre. The truth needs to be uncovered. It looks even more criminal every single day.
To all you twitter warriors who have told me over and over again that
@NYGovCuomo
won’t go down, and that I’m just wasting my time:
I’m so glad I didn’t listen to you.
I’ve had more than one person tell me I need to “watch my back” when it comes to my criticism of the governor. People in media and politics have told me most are afraid of him. So I truly feel alone sometimes in this fight.
To all of you New York lawmakers who are suddenly all aboard the “investigate Cuomo” train:
We won’t forget those of you who ignored us and tried to silence us about the nursing home massacre. You’re all cowards.
🚨BREAKING🚨
The US Attorney in Brooklyn in collaboration with the FBI has launched an investigation into
@NYGovCuomo
’s role in the thousands of deaths at NY nursing homes and the subsequent cover-up
Here He Is: Mr. Wear your Mask or else! This was in Georgia a few days ago. No mask. No social distancing. No quarantine. Biggest hypocrite in New York.
#MeToo
will get him. But I pray to God they eventually get him for what he really deserves: the deaths of thousands of elderly in nursing homes and the coverup of the total number that died.
Dear
@TIME
Instead of politicians and celebrities You should’ve made front line and essential workers your “person of the year.” Every day citizens that are not famous and don’t make millions but risk their lives for all of us. It would’ve been the best choice.
My friend
@kilmeade
was harassed in the nyc subway yesterday. He is one of the nicest people I know. Where do we draw the line? Why do people think they’re above the law? Can you imagine if this was a
@CNN
or
@MSNBC
host or a woman? It’s outrageous, sick and dangerous.
Very early on when I started speaking out publicly about
@NYGovCuomo
I was told by someone who knows the Cuomo family very well that I should “Watch my back.”
I was told over a week ago I would be welcome to testify at tomorrow's nursing home hearings in New York. A formal request was expected on Friday, but then all of a sudden I wasn't on the list anymore. The democrats didn't even have the decency to respond to me.
I am so grateful tonight. To all of you. Your kindness and words of support mean more than I can put into words. I felt your prayers. My family thanks you. God Bless you all. ❤️
Thank you all for making my
@usatodayopinion
column about
@NYGovCuomo
's deadly nursing home policy one of the top read of the week. (

Tomorrow on the 20th anniversary of September 11th our family will be visiting my husband’s firehouse where they lost all the men on duty that day.
