@conor64 I clarified in comments, where I also postulated whether or not the online bachelors degree was going to require the thesis and defending it in front of a baccalaureate exam in order to graduate. That is what New College students had to do since it was founded in the ‘60s.

No offense, but FL's metrics for public higher ed is based on how cheap it is to educate a student and 4-year grad rates. New College was the #1 public university for students to go onto to earn PhDs. It's not easy to graduate from and it costs the state more per student.

Thank you 🙏, Carlos, for your coverage. They also lowered admission standards to record lows. Avg SAT score for incoming athletes is ~1090. They offered over 595 $10k scholarships to accepted students, which over 80% rejected and only ~17% accepted. It was a bribe.
