Yesterday in #budget2022 The Irish Gov gave a higher % increase (~5%) to Greyhound Racing than to Mental Health services (~3.36%) . Next time a politician tweets (for the PR) about seeking help ask them why they think Greyhound racing deserves a higher increase. #youbettheydie

They had two Wolfhounds , their groomer had serious concerns about their welfare and they needed veterinary care which they weren’t given. One was put down and one was dumped on a rescue. These company should not be allowed to have any dogs at all. @joeliveline

@CiaraMcNelis Our Neighbour is Ukrainian.They are organising with friends a van full of supplies to be driven into Ukraine to particular areas that they know. That's how they are helping from here. It's completely understandable. As others have said the fear of € disappearing plays a role.

Drove the Motorhome for 300km at ~90kph on the Motorway instead of 100kph, saved €8.2. That's a lot of money. Difference in travel time~15 minutes due to general slow downs off ramps on ramps etc. I don't know why we aren't lowering speed limits during a climate and fuel crisis.

I'm at a loss to see why if you were speeding on a badly designed and poorly maintained road it wouldn't be your fault? Speeding isn't compulsory ... it's a choice.

@GardaTraffic Strongly supporting you say? I have stopped reporting this car , must have reported it about 10 times over the last year to Raheny Garda station who refuse to do anything about it. Always parked fully on path up against a traffic light. .. They have a driveway. #makewayday20

This makes me very , very sad to think there are people who do this to puppies, to any animal. People who do this will be cruel to humans. You don’t isolate your lack of empathy and cruelty. Thankfully these puppies will get the best possible restart in life.

Earlier this week Annie & Andy were reportedly dumped from a car in a local car park. They are only 8 weeks old 🥹 Both are underweight, have mild conjunctivitis & swollen bellies from worms. They’ve gone out to a foster home for lots of TLC 🧡 #abandoned #animalrescue #dspca

You could also teach them about the thousands killed every year because they are not fast enough or injured or the vet bills are too high.

I have always found it barbaric that we are not allowed to choose (If needed) a dignified end to our lives to end suffering. We give that gift to Animals that we love, but not each other. People should be allowed choose.

The man circled in Blue is Blind and had to navigate past all those coaches and Bins the council put on the path for the gig. This was taken at that protest. This is why coaches should never park on paths.

@RoryHearne It should be illegal to charge more rent for pets. If damage is caused by pets than it can be deducted from the deposit .. kids will cause more damage to a property. It’s not a revenue opportunity.

Rua loves picking up&carrying plastic bottles that we find on our runs and walks. His favourite are full ones ..which there are a surprising number of thrown away. At the end of the run/walk we bin them. I reckon he recycles about 800 bottles a year ! Get a dog,save the planet 😀
