This action completes the environmental clearance in NorCal & extends environmental clearance to 420 miles of the 500-mile Phase 1 alignment from SF ↔️ LA!

The Authority has completed the South Avenue Grade Separation in Fresno County, which is now open to traffic.

🚨 The McCombs Road overcrossing in Kern County is now completed! This is the fifth structure completed by the Authority in 2023.
This grade separation spans 415 ft, is 40 ft wide, & realigns McCombs Road to take traffic over SR 43 and the future high-speed rail lines.
