Jeremy Corbyn makes a thoughtful contribution in parliament that articulates what so many of us feel about the recent terrible deaths in the English Channel. The Tory Home Secretary responds in such an inhuman way that she brings shame upon our country.
Today, three human beings froze to death in the Channel.
I asked the Home Secretary if she would hold out the hand of humanity to desperate people trying to reach our shores.
She told me I needed a reality check.
