My heart is broken for my family. This is what remains of my Uncle’s house in Southern Oregon. The oldest home in our family: summer childhood destination, reunions, celebrations... they were safely evacuated, but left with nothing - at 80 years old they will start over.

We had the help of more than 120 firefighters from @SacFirePIO @wsfassociation @WestSacFire @TheCityofSac @metrofirepio @SacAreaFF522 in Natomas today. Our City also had 7 other fires. And we have 26 firefighters and 3 apparatus on the #KincaidFire

Dropped by a vaccine site focused on equity that opened today at Natomas High School. They reserved appointments for lower income residents, made individual calls to the community, and even had translators on site. First 1,000 appointments were filled in less than 24 hours. 🙌

My opponent and 4 other middle aged men met in court today and decided I am neither a Councilmember (too broad), nor an advocate for women (not a vocation). It’s ok. I’ll let you choose my next title… I’m hoping for Senator. Maybe that will be clearer for them. ❤️ #LetsGo
