@TerribleFinance
I once worked somewhere that did north of $200mm revenue with gross margin >70%. On “employee appreciation day” we got a keychain, which is worse than nothing. I was responsible for about $6mm of that revenue.
@SpeedSportLife
Let’s see… it has a rear fog light so it’s European
Push button start (many euro marques still charging extra for keyless access!)
An attractive strip of wood and aluminum
And you made a post so it must be too much
I’m going with $82k
@BowTiedBroke
@Cernovich
I don’t understand how shit ever gets this bad. Anything. Cars that are barely recognizable, large trash piles, 500lb. people, diabetes feet… how does it happen?
Got home from vacation to find my first order of NOBS arrived. I enjoyed explaining to my wife that I spent $40 on toothpaste because a cartoon alligator from the internet told me to.
@BowTiedGatorDDS
@janekleeb
Jane are you really bragging about Obamacare? Literally everybody recognizes that it is a train wreck law that did nothing to improve care but helps insurance companies collect more premiums.
@TalkHuskers
Good for him. Logan Smothers is an excellent athlete who deserves to see the field. He is going to do very well, someplace where he fits schematically.
@Fire5280
On the contrary, it’s a helluva lot easier to make payments without a job if you don’t have any payments. Don’t owe anything to anybody? You can survive on remarkably little income.
@GuyDealership
Earlier today, I saw your post about people taking out 96 month auto loans. Now I see this about a larger percentage paying cash for vehicles. The contrast is mind-boggling.
@Tr3_GK
@britneysfoyer
You really should consider it though. It’s pretty great up here. Wages are good and houses are still relatively inexpensive despite five years of run-up. No hurricanes and you’re three hours from the beach.
@DocTalkSports
That’s what I told the athletic dept. folks who were sitting behind us.
“You never get your t-shirt size from those things, but a hotdog is one size fits all.”
Also asked them to have Herbie sacrifice lil red midfield.
@SpeedSportLife
@ferio_252
Reading or hearing non car people make statements about cars is always an exercise in patience.
Remember when the Skyline GTR was “banned from the U.S. for being too fast”🙄
@CFBHome
Lots and lots. What do you want to know?
2 nuggets: his team lost in the state football semi finals to The Millard North Mustangs
He was once in the group behind me and we were way too slow because he’s a really freakin good golfer.
@JorgeGu91331
@TerribleFinance
Brutal. We actually had casual dress when we weren’t out in the field selling. Almost forgot the best part, though: my commissions were capped.
@NebraskaMegan
It’s a public space that belongs to the people, to be used for free speech.
It’s definitely no worse than shrieking commie supporters of yours throwing dirty maxi pads onto the floor of the legislature.
@HuskerWave
Nebraska and Iowa are kindred spirits in that Nebraska fielded the best 3 win team of all time and Iowa fielded the worst 10 win team of all time.

@FullpathCDXP
A guy at a cigar bar I frequent was bragging in 2021 about his $4,800 lease pmt on his G63. He’d put down $30k. “Wow, you’re throwing away a lot of money.” I said. He got pissed. Imagine paying $200k not to own a g-class.
@janekleeb
With all due respect ma’am, have you seen the things the Democrat activists engage in?
Criticize Republican policy all you want, but when there are Democrats out there chanting from the “river to the sea” it may behoove you to refrain from criticizing grassroots action
@MW_Royers
257 gallons of gasoline tax is nothing. That’s about 7,100 miles of driving at 30mpg average.
And EV’s are far heavier than their ICE peers, meaning more wear & tear on the roads. The alt. Fuel tax should double.
@BarstoolHusker
Wait a second… you said “yours truly” which is something somebody says to refer to their self.
Is the barstool Husker account run by Scott Frost?
@iKalebHenry
One unexpected tidbit is that they actually have two scholarships to give! Never would have thought that would happen when we had >100 guys on scholarship ~5 months ago
@BEisenhart
@TimboNotes
@financecowboy
Shoot man, I can’t make it from my house to Dodge St. w/o seeing a dozen new pickups that cost at least $65k. And those are in addition to all of the Suburbans, Yukons, GLS’s… West Omaha runs on the bank’s money.
@DennisPCrawford
SCOTUS decision wouldn’t cost anybody that money. Borrowers cost themselves the money. You borrow money, you pay it back that is what I and tens of millions of others did.
@PatrickBMin
Semi related: It’s hilarious how Land Rover dealerships park their SUV’s on boulders & ramps so that there’s a wheel hanging in the air.
“Come, behold and purchase our excellent off-roaders! They have zero flex but lots of electronic gizmos.”
@HuskGuys
Great question! Here’s what I do: for 13 weeks leading up to game 1, I flip a coin on Saturday morning. Heads I put my hand in a toaster. Tails, I put my hand in a toaster while sitting in the bathtub.
@RhuleDaTrenches
@u_fullback
Because nobody cares if the Phoenix Mercury beats the Indiana Fever. Had to look up a second WNBA team to use in an example.
@WOWT6News
I do not agree with her tactics. And I think that if she were anything, but the farthest left category of Democrat, the media would decry her tactics as obstructionist.
@CARandDRIVER
@MazdaUSA
This picture is definitely the CX-90’s worst angle. The way that belt line rises and the rear end sits. It almost looks like a full diaper or worse, harkens the GMC XUV. A pity, because it’s a looker from other angles.
@DougDeMuro
@carsandbids
Really wish you would have reviewed this car. I don’t think the magazines ever did but I’ve always been curious how it stacks up to the SVT Focus of prior years.
@senatormachaela
You’re doing a pretty great job! We got Constitutional carry, abortion limits, no more kids getting mutilated, tax cuts… this is the best Republican legislature of my life time! 🥳
@senatorblood
Look: a super majority of state Senators who were levered by the people of the state, voted different from you. This wasn’t 51-49. This is the vast majority of people who want this. Cope.
@GuyDealership
@carsdotcom
Respectfully sir, you could have tweeted that exact tweet any given day in the last 25 years and had a >90% chance of being correct.
@SenMcCollister
If you’re going to blame one group, try blaming the RINO’s such as yourself, who ran as republicans and disappointed their party every chance they got.
@AlgodTrading
@TerribleFinance
I’m a salesman. For sales people, our risk is not making bonus. Nobody else in the company has a job if we do not perform. Top performers make more than the boss’s, boss’s boss.
Talking w/ dad last weekend, he said, “we got a deal on our first mortgage and it was 14%!”
“Ok, how much was the house?”
“$45,000”
“And how much did you make that year?”
“$30,000”
“Okay dad, so can you see how this is not the same?”
@GuyDealership
The first step is to appeal the denial. The warranty co, whether manufacturer or aftermarket, will always try to find a reason not to cover.
@M_perez949
Hyundai was on a spree of hiring former bimmers (that’s what I call BMW employees). Now Audi is hiring former Hyunguys (which is what I call Hyundai employees)
@carsales_guy
“Yes I’d like to know the money factor.”
That’ll be $1k
“How about the residual?”
$1k
Since it costs $1,000 get the info, does that indicate it’s really, really good? Or that it’s so bad they want you pot committed by the time you see it? 🧐
@oliverdarcy
Haven’t university administrators been pushing segregation for the last 20 years? Which then got adopted by corporate DEI departments and the BLM folks?
@carsales_guy
The last car salesman I negotiated with pointed that out. My response was, “it has been on the lot for 8 weeks, so that’s a risk we’re willing to take. I’ll buy it today for $ x, let us know if that works for you.”
@janekleeb
@JoeJordanNE
@Jean_Stothert
Why should a mayor wade into “reproductive rights” and what in the world would they do?
Omahans care about:
Roads (currently total crap)
Public safety
City services
Parks & Libraries
Taxes
In that order
@bowtiedgreasemo
My dad and both got a wild hair and flew to Chicago to buy cars. Subsequently shared misadventures with very fast and heavily depreciated Mercedes Benz models.
What I learned is that people sell those cars because they are broken, not because they don’t like them.
