In the spirit of what if cork. We give you ‘Slí na Laoi” A green ~3km walking loop around the City Centre Island that follows the course of the river. Just add wide footpaths, riverside crossings, trees and seating.

Too many drivers share a hostility towards cyclists which is hard to understand. On a road where you must drive slow, this driver complains (using a phone) about being held up by a cyclist and the cyclist not using the Greenway. The greenway isn’t suitable for a speeding cyclist.

This is the Crosshaven Road today. A half mile procession behind a Lycra clad cyclist who refused to use the ‘greenway’ alongside the road because, as he said without a trace of irony when challenged, ‘All the walkers and joggers there would slow me down’. 🤷‍♂️

At least 5 bus routes delayed by 30+ minutes due to excess traffic. We need bus connects now.

Since @corkcitycouncil care so much about visual clutter, when are you going to do something about all the clutter on our streets?

Would bicycle sheds be less visually offence or clutter-like if they were designed to look like cars or vans?

Cork City Council has a major street clutter problem with no signs of them improving. What if we reduced obstacles on our streets, doubled up on poles and used walls for some signage? @corkcitycouncil

Glad to see planning gone in for a few apartments in the building highlighted but what a waste this section of the City is. Should have hundreds living here but all we've got is vacancy and dereliction.

Imagine these as quality apartments. Think of the boost it would give North Main St and Cork City Centre.

Just passed Glounthaune where a few hundred trees were being cut down along the train tracks. These have never been a health and safety problem before, why now?? Why is there a war on nature in Ireland? Depressing. @corkcitycouncil @IrishRail @pjcoogan @EcofactEcology

Excessive trees according to Cllr Des Cahill but never excessive cars. Too many of our Cllrs are utter failures when it comes to biodiversity loss and climate change. Let them know.

This won't be developed by the current owners due to their legal issues and how they've decided to abandon The Prism. How long do we need to wait to restore the Bonded Warehouses? The potential of the City is being choked by awol developers and a disinterested City Council.

Why are these bonded warehouses in the Port of Cork still being left rot? 200 years old this is irreplaceable priceless heritage When they're gone they're gone This vandalism under the not so watchful eye of the local authorities has to stop #DerelictIreland #HeritageMatters
