It's an exciting day for us! The first of our 41 new intercity rail cars have just left the Hyundai Rotem Factory in Korea to ship to Ireland. We expect the first vehicles to arrive in September and they will enter service next year.

🎉 The first of 41 new Intercity railcar carriages entered service on the 06:47 Portlaoise to Heuston. The new carriages, being added to existing trains to boost capacity before extra services later this year, have a multi-purpose area incl tip-up seats and extra bike space.
