We're often asked to list the benefits of brexit. I think parliament setting the laws the country has to follow is a benefit in itself. So what about those laws? Do they offer any upside?

And personally I really don't get the argument that if Starmer resigns so will Boris. Boris never commented on Starmer's Durham party. Starmer was quick to call for Boris's resignation and made a great deal about his lack of morals. There's a difference.

Frost has just explained the EU's position on state aid. At the end of the transition the EU want us to follow their state aid rules and to amend our legislation with their rules in the future. If we fail to do so they can levy tariffs. This is then to be enforced by the ECJ.

@Danjsalt It should make any decent person angry. I have a stinking feeling that nothing will be done about it though 😡

If the Tories big comms strategy is vote reform get labour then they'll be slaughtered. After 14 years this nonsense doesn't wash.

@Alex_M_Esq @afneil I fear for this country if that's the case. I think brexiteers will leave the Tory party and Corbyn becomes a shoe in. I hate to see what state the country is in after 5 years of Corbyn. He terrifies me.

So the EU has been caught trying to leverage Northern Ireland food supplies in the negotiations. Can anybody tell me how this adheres to the principles laid out in the good friday agreement?

If anybody needed any motivation to vote for the @brexitparty_uk then all they need to do is watch the prime minister's speech. If this gets through 2nd reading the Tory party is finished. It could be finished already considering the amount of damage she has done.

Reports are suggesting that in the event of no deal the EU have hinted that the UK will not be on an approved list to import food into Northern Ireland. That's why the govt have sought to protect Northern Ireland. Reprehensible if true.

So to be clear, Sue Gray was holding clandestine meetings with Starmer over a period of SEVERAL MONTHS without the knowledge of ministers. If that isn't improper then I don't know what is. It calls into question Gray's integrity and honesty. Can she be trusted again?

The EU are still asking for alignment in order to reduce checks and controls and have offered a fig leaf on governance. This isn't looking good.
