As a quantitative social scientist at @NuffieldCollege , I heartily oppose this very limited, pernicious argument. There is room in our world for many ways of thinking. And not every degree or job should be valued by its earnings potential. Oh, and FWIW I was a history grad.

The entire Estonian equivalent to the IRS has about 25 employees total, and they do a much better job. This is mostly because their tax code is simple and easy to administer.

Well APPARENTLY Microsoft Exchange formats the date as YYMMDDHHMM, and then stores that as a signed 32 bit int. And 2201010001, the date for midnight Jan 1, is larger than 2^31-1. So email servers are crashing all over the place. LOL so glad I'm not IT ops anymore.

yesterday I was thinking, wow it's a neat trick that you can accidentally blow up your own hospital and blame the other guy for it and it does more for your cause than anything else so far, now I'm learning you don't even have to blow up the hospital, just the parking lot
