I got caught stealing cigarettes(side hustle, not smoking them) in New Orleans when I was 9. The store called the cops. Cops called my parents. Parents came &picked me up at Walgreens. Folks said they weren’t going to punish me because they hoped the shame was enough. I’m white.
@ravenscimaven
That’s illegal. You should report the broker immediately to the Department of Professional Regulation. We are bound by ethics to refuse to represent a client who express racial discrimination.
@HunndoHefner
Oh and did I mention they found a weapon on me. A fairly large pocket knife that I used to cut the cellophane from the cigarette packs. It’s was a promotional 2pack and it wouldn’t fit in my pocket. They gave my weapon to my father.

Whataboutism is how small children argue. Time to grow up. Also, Mrs, Clinton came before Congress and answered every question asked of her and the Trump/Barr team never indicted her. If there had been sufficient evidence then she would have been.

My FiL just left US w/a persistent cough. Got to Japan Thursday. Saw PCP Friday &took X-rays. PCP saw something &ordered CAT scan which he did Saturday &went Monday AM to PCP to review. CT scan was 1000 yen or abt $7. Total out of pocket was a bit over $10+ no waiting for appt.

While I understand that she may not want them fishing there, in Florida they have the right to be there. A private dock on a public waterway can be fished around and even under, though if you tie off to the private structure, then you’d be in violation.

We recently had small dinner party, prepared lobster, prime ribeye and served a Caymus which is no inexpensive. I would have shamed myself had I ended this meal with a bill. If you can’t afford to be generous, then discuss in advance or don’t entertain.
@GeoRebekah
It’s a good point, but you also have to consider the ramifications of working against the candidate that is most closely aligned with you, if that results in someone exponentially worse gaining power. You can change the Dems from within. Our Democracy collapses with Trump.

I bought my 1956 home for $311k in 2018. It was in need of repair &had nearly 20yo roof. Insurance was $2kyr. Before moving in, I spent over $200k refurbishing, including a new roof&hurricane windows. Last yr my insurance was $4500. This year it was raised to $8500. Ridiculous!
@FREAKINWOKE
I thought the same here in FL, then it spread. My conservative golf course community has Biden signs more than 20 to 1. It’s like when you unexpectedly come upon a wildflower bloom. You just want to stare at the beauty and it gives you hope. Got one like this too!

Guess you’ve never lived in Japan. I was flagged leaving the airport for overstaying my visa in July. Had no Yen to pay for the visa. The clerk took my dollars, ran all the way back to the money exchange, got yen, ran to the visa office, purchased my visa, ran it back to me.

Once they accepted their money, they entered into a contract to provide a product or service. At that point they would have had to complete the transaction or rescind the agreement by refunding the money. There never appears any threat of imminent harm.

A true man of the people! I can see why all the blue collar folks from impoverished areas of Appalachia would support him. If everyone in town gave $5 and they pooled their resources, they could send the mayor.

Stoops already owns this title. How can anyone argue w/ what he has done in taking an SEC doormat to upper echelon in the conference & on the doorstep of consistent national prominence? UK was losing to MAC/Sunbelt teams before he arrived. His turnaround is most impressive.

I pay my 11yr old $10/wk for chores, but he has $3/ wk rent that’s due Sat noon w/ late fees if late. He can also “deposit/invest” extra cash for delayed gratification & earned interest. I’ve been investing for him since birth & am teaching him how the stock mkt works.

As a finance professional, I’ve been saying for decades that the way to let the market do its magic, is to force all gun owners to carry liability insurance just like cars. If you are responsible, then your cost is low and if not, the market will price you out of ownership.

Dolly wrote it before she was a big star like she is now, and interestingly, Elvis tried to buy the rights to it, as he knew it was a hit. Elvis would not sing it unless he owned it and they put a lot of pressure on young Dolly to relent, but she held strong. She’s glad she did.

Red flag- if your new company insinuates that they want you to jump in before they are paying you, then that is both unethical and against the law. I would likely cancel the move if that happened. Right after I called HR to complain.

Sometimes I don’t put anything ON my burgers, rather I put them IN my burgers. This is a Tex Max burger that I seasoned with chili powder and cumin and stuffed with salsa with extra sautéed onion and jalapeños, with a layer of sliced avocado to keep the bun from getting soggy.

The Navy taught me to sleep anywhere. True story: I arrived at Nuke school before classes started, so I was assigned to the cleaning crew, but we had too many for little to do, so we would sleep in shifts. Two of us climbed under the teacher’s stage. 1/

He’s local. A tourist wouldn’t know that Bradenton is considered “poor man’s Sarasota” by some people from Sarasota. It’s actually up and coming as far as development, but historically you would go to Bradenton if on a budget.

Most restaurants in the US don’t have a till. There’s a PoS computer located out of site of customers often where the waiters are filling drinks. Some bigger restaurants have a few of them located strategically. Often their is no cash, just a little credit card machine.

Your comment is racist because you have no basis to believe those children are not allowed to be there, other than you’re own racial bias. If evidence is presented that they were not supposed to be there, then have it, but questioning them because they are black is racist.

A woman kept hitting me at a college football game b/c I was cheering for FSU &her team (Clemson) was getting killed. I repeatedly told her to stop. Finally I had had enough, so turned to her husband & said, "if your wife touches me again you're going to wake up in the hospital."
@MommaD11471
How is that any different than asking my wife to pick up some beer or something from the hardware store? The person who wrote it is probably a Christian troll. There’s this strange culture growing in the Christofascism movement that believes we should go back in time 100 yrs.
