Today I saved a kitten that was frozen in terror in the middle of a busy four lane at the edge of my town. Luckily, he stayed at the edge of the middle turn lane and didn’t run back into traffic and I was able to pull over, run out and grab him before he got hit by a car.

My mother has dementia. She is almost 90. She still lives alone, and her house is 2 blocks from mine. It’s a slight bill to my house. She just walked to my house and it is 92° here. Our healthcare system sucks because I don’t have a good way to care for her without going broke.

@AdamParkhomenko This is Rocky. I took care of him while his truck driver dad was in the hospital. He was the sweetest little dog. I brought him to visit his dad every day. They had a sweet bond. Both Rocky and his dad have gone to the great highway in the sky but sure left a spot on my heart.
