I love waking up in the morning to a racist troll rant email overnight because I called the guy a racist for his hate of immigrants.

However, this is very rushed. I have a daughter in public school and would like all of us to go back, but not until the questions I pose in my statement are answered. We must keep everyone healthy & safe. Read my full statement here:

I’m so sorry one of our DPW workers died on the job last week. This is really hard work. Be patient we will get through it. Prayers to his family.

Baltimore’s Department of Public Works is suspending recycling pickup throughout the city through at least Nov. 1 to focus on its trash routes, citing shortages of workers and an overwhelming demand for service caused by the coronavirus pandemic.

The goats are back! They will be in the Wyman Park Dell this Thursday at noon. They will be eating the invasive vines along the slope. Catch a glimpse before they get full 🐐

My brother-in-law has COVID. We have not seen him in months so we are not impacted. I wanted to let you know this because COVID is still with us. Please be vigilant. Wear the mask, avoid big gatherings, and get vaccinated when you can. 1/2

Today I attended Baltimore Ceasefire sacred space rituals honoring the lives of five people murdered in D14 recently. Declared these spaces sacred. And yet there is much more to do. Troy Poindexter, Mason Moldoven, Dominique Whitby, Deion Jenkins, Tyi’quione Jones.

Thanks to @MayorBMScott for signing 22-0238 Charter Amendment -Office of the Inspector General Advisory Board. My colleagues and I worked hard on this bill to ensure the integrity and independence of the office. This was truly a team effort! Now on to the voters!

RENEW would have us believe that no one wants to move into the city because of the taxes. This is BS. People want to move into Baltimore and the recent @LiveBaltimore study suggests that the obstacle is not taxes, it is available housing stock that is move in-ready. 8/

1/2 Yesterday’s Inclusionary Housing rally was a success! Thank you to everyone who came out to support despite the rainy weather. This policy is a tool to address the long time issue of housing discrimination. It is important that we continue to fight for this,
