@Gigisvodkapasta @lackingsaint Honorary degrees are *typically* given to someone who has not done the formal education at a school BUT has contributed to a field enough to warrant one. Sometimes it’s just a publicity stunt, but often it’s a way of acknowledging someone’s work.

@moodyangela @VaushV No one is saying it should be women’s job to fix men. It should be the job of men to teach men to be normal. Men are already socialized but to have a quasi-homoerotic relationship with other men. Their not-boyfriends might as well teach them how to be nice to women.

@leahmcelrath I agree with you 100%. Aubry’s acct is a lot of rightfully calling men out for being creeps, entitled, etc., but I do not see how the guy in this scenario was in the wrong at all. I feel they went in hard on him purely b/c he was a man. I agreed w/ the dude’s response. 🤷
