This is not a good take, guys. The industry is in real danger of stagnating if this is the direction it takes. Senior staff in publishing houses owe a responsibility to support and nourish those coming into the business, who bring new ideas, important beliefs, and perspective.

This is gross. I spent years convincing myself I deserved sport after spending high school in PE lessons that didn’t welcome overweight teens. Now I’ve run three half marathons and go to the gym every week. ANYBODY WITH ANY BODY CAN ENJOY WORKING OUT. And can look hot doing so.

To be clear: trans women are women. There is nothing positive to be gained from hateful, harmful, uneducated (and frankly uninvited) commentary from anybody, let alone someone with such a huge following. I’m so sorry to anyone this is hurting. It makes me furious.

Today, I had my final counselling session over an eight-week period and I wanted to mark it with a little Twitter thread. I think we all know there is a stigma around mental health still and I think it's important to share your experience (if you feel strong enough to do so).
