A few years ago, some policemen stopped my cousin and I and told him to open his bag. My cousin had just withdrawn 250k to pay his masons. These men told my cousin to SPLIT the money in half with them. When he refused, they arrested him for robbery and told me to go. Me, go? LOL.
In 2009, when Armed Robbers raided my bank branch in Ebonyi and took away about N22mn +.
Police waylaid them on their way out of the street, killed all 12 of them then told us they didn't see any bag of money with the robbers.
Most traumatic experience of my life till date.
Some claimed it was propaganda and said I was making the Minister of Sports look bad. Months later, she confirmed it in interviews and my detractors went mute 😅
These LIARS said he was the only one they caught during a robbery operation. So what was I doing there if he was the only one that escaped? I couldn’t believe my ears.
You see most police officers in Nigeria? They have a place in hell reserved for them.
Yesterday, I was at a place where some mothers were having a conversation about how they’d never use Erisco, and all I could think about was how women’s collective decision is about to destroy whatever profitability the company has left.

This was my ex (we had broken up even at the time) when my dad died. He’d call several times a day only to hear me repeat the same words and cry my eyes out. One time, I randomly asked what time it was when he called. It was 1 am his time.
I sincerely appreciate his efforts.

I have ended my journey with

as

’s editor.
It’s been an amazing three years serving in that capacity.
I am proud of all that we achieved.
To everyone that contributed to its success, thank you.
Onto my next adventure.
My friend has a surprise planned for every day of April. It’s his wife’s birth month. That man has spent close to N23m, which I’m aware of. They’ve been married for 17 years.
His reward? How “her face lights up.”
I have never seen anything like it.
God abeg, thank you, pls 🤲🏾
Coworker just told me it’s his 14th anniversary and it’s not a big deal .. so now he’s cutting out 14 hearts to write 14 different reasons he’s in love with her and he already ordered 14 roses and made food reservations. He told me he’s never telling me anything again but idc ✋🏽

I do not believe that all men cheat. Are there times that things are not rosy and both partners need a break? Yes, but I’ve seen these men refuse to break their commitment to their women.
At about 1 am, the Lord woke me up to speak into the air surrounding Nigeria. My mother just called to confirm same.
May the Lord raise a standard against any incantation and divination made at night to cause confusion in the name of Jesus.
As jobless as you are, with your sole life ambition of inheriting your father's house so you can sell it, buy a used Mercedes and lodge Njideka in one of those Lekki Phase 1 short time hotels for 2 weeks, you are not significantly less employed than Tinubu’s cokehead kids.
I visited Makoko last year and some of the children wanted books, EXERCISE BOOKS and SOCKS, as part of their Children’s Day gifts.
No one would “love” to visit a place where they use black water to bathe.
Can we stop glorifying underdevelopment and focus on fixing Makoko?
This is Makoko; a floating village in Lagos. It is biggest floating slum in Africa.
Because of its view, it is nicknamed the "Venice of Africa".
RT if you'd love to visit Makoko

Loosely translated - The one my heart has chosen to beat for.
An endearment that tries to capture how the love and rush of excitement you feel is beyond your comprehension.
I don’t think English will be able to do justice to this.

So when are you returning my money (over 20k) that was illegally deducted from my card? Why have you been ignoring my emails containing the proof you requested?
What is this attempt to show concern when we both know nothing will come out of it?
Some of you are toxic. You immediately resort to vile words if anyone disagrees with your opinion. Is this your Twitter personality or it’s how you really are?
I’m going to have to start using the mute and block button for my sanity.
For the life of me, I cannot believe that until 2019, I thought myself ugly. This photo was the turning point for me. It was the day I said, “You know what? I’m fine no matter what society and my mind say.”
Now? I believe I am “the” spec. After me na me.
i hate when pretty women find it hard to accept that they’re pretty. you’ll tell a woman she’s beautiful and she’ll say “you’re lying jare.”
tell me you know you’re fine! tell me you look at yourself in the mirror everyday and scream wow! stop that downplaying nonsense, dear.
I know it’s banter, but using closed legs to oppose the stingy men association sends a message I’d rather not want us to be associated with. We have other things to put on the banter table. Closed legs should not even be given a thought na
I've been in a meeting where I stood up and served myself tea (the only woman there), then some dude asked me to also serve him.
Me: Why?
Him: Because even at home our wives serve us tea!
Me: {Looking around} I don't see them here?

Great. I was looking out for this. I’m really interested in its documentation. If they have never devised a way to write, do you think this is a great opportunity for you or are there attempts by others? The thread says the language is almost extinct.
11/ The natives of Socotra, however, have never devised a way to write their language. Therefore, what is known of the islands is found in foreign records by those who have been there.
Just clocked that every single person that worked under me has gone on to either head departments or joined great organizations in a higher capacity. Goldman Sachs, Raven, Pulse, hospitality, logistics, influencing...
This flex should be on my CV.
God did this one tbh 🔥
It’s been a year working at a place I never imagined I’ll ever get to work.I’m glad that I could represent for Africa & I didn’t let us down. My best career experience by far & it was beautiful whilst it lasted.Much love to all the amazing tweeps that made it worth it.

You speak as if it is not those who are Enugu by birth and by residence that didn’t cause us this pain. What we should be doing now is to vote for an empathetic leader who understands that we “desperately” need to move forward. Who is driven by this among them? That is wisdom.
Lost my roommate in UNN to Boko Haram. She was serving in Damaturu and was distributing Rhapsody of Realities when they struck. Could have sworn I just found closure. This thread has opened the wound again.
Currently watching We Were Soldiers and I randomly remembered when my former roommate from UNN called me the day that Boko Haram invaded Mubi. She was serving in Mubi, I remember vividly the terror in her voice, “Kelechi, they’re coming, what am I going to do?” I told her, “Run!”

A thread
The first day I used the ASL to interact with someone, everyone could tell she was excited. It did not matter that I only knew the alphabets and some basic expressions. I suppose I became her only (I use only loosely) friend in the neighborhood and this babe had gist for days lol
@mayeesq
This thread reminds me of a friend’s. He said he started speaking in tongues in Afrikan Shrine. His friends thought he had gone mad. Hasn’t looked back since
I was speaking with
@veektor_ya
about this and she googled out a photo. Says the description of the woman in my dream seems to be this person.
This was the woman I saw in my dream in suit pants. I cannot believe this.
Now I really wonder what this dream means.
I had a strange dream. A black woman in a suit, cowboy hat, and shoes introduced herself as William McKinley's butler. She didn't appear a day older than 60. She told me she advised him on a policy he enacted three years before his assassination. I didn't know who McKinley was.

Lol. Please, I did not ask you to display this folly. If you cannot show proof of what you used your handle to speculate, then it is just what it is- a speculation.
