There's a major staffing shortage currently and many people in the US remain on waiting lists for waivers that cover caretakers. It's not an easy thing to obtain.

But forcing people into silence will not get us there. The more I accept myself the easier it is to accept help like the care support I finally have access to. So I'll be able to use door dash and Instacart significantly less. But not everyone's that lucky.

@Baileymoon15 Honestly I do it so folks know they’re talking to more then one person because if they don’t then communication gets rocky fast. It’s hard not to disclose when you have DID because otherwise interpersonal communication is a nightmare. And it’s brought us a lot of relief.
