Well that's a first, guy just in to get a couple of packing boxes, flown in from UK to post his grandson's presents to Austria as it's cheaper than posting them from UK & he doesn't want them hit with the taxes. He paid £12 each way from Stansted. What a strange world we live in.

Sadly, we lost our beloved Sasha last night. An MRI showed that she needed multiple back operations, with a little chance of success, & we didn't feel it was fair to put her through that pain. Leon & I are devastated, she was the best dog. RIP to our beautiful girl. #PetLife

Ah, first email of the day "I ordered a book two weeks ago & it hasn't arrived so I've ordered it from Amazon instead" (It's published 30th April) But emails 2,3,4,5 & 6 were all lovely & I have coffee & a pastry so I'm sliding back into my 'not swearing at the computer' zone...

It would have been my Dad's 80th today if the cancer hadn't got him. He loaned me €30k to help set-up the Gutter (I never repaid the loan...) Thanks, Dad! We don't believe in heaven but I do like to think of him messing about in boats & swearing for eternity. #dadlove #dadsrock
