Thoughts? My solar will have paid for itself after around 6 years. After that I am generating free energy for years to come. I purposely chose a solar install over the money sitting in a low interest savings account. I also actually enjoy messing around. 🤣

Comment about the pricing of new @OctopusEnergy Flux tariff. 20p off peak seems high. But only because we got used to 5p on Go. Over the past year, every 30 min slot at average "Wholesale" prices has been >14p, even overnight. Can't expect Octopus to buy at 15p & sell at 10p?

Tons of fab feedback, everyone says goes with the colours, so just need to tweak the ranges and not get overly complicated. Based on feedback, this seems to be what people have suggested: 25+ 14-25 10-14 8-10 5-8 0-5 <0 This gets rid of the scary orange in that <14p range.

Was sent this link showing the current status of EDF Nuclear power stations. As you can see, many are currently offline for maintenance. So maybe without this constant underlying baseload, wholesale prices have been a little high recently when little wind?

Over the next few days I intend pushing a code change to the daily graph script. It's clear that the hardcoded colour ranges set in Aug 2020 aren't valid based on todays wholesale prices. I've detailed my idea in the FAQ. Hope it all makes sense?
