In AZ, the 1449 hospitalizations due to COVID represents 22% of the 83% hosp capacity. Last week, AZ Health admitted a mistake showing their “surge beds” as “filled”— but instead of showing them “empty”, they just took the 2200 beds off the board. Another 25% capacity- poof.
