I moved to ⁦ @OctopusEnergy ⁩ gas tracker in July 2023. My average unit price for gas over 6 months has been 4.71p per kWh. Prior to the energy crisis anything 3p per kWh or below was normal. The current Energy Price Cap is just over 7p per kWh!! Saved £204 just in gas.

I will take that as a win. On the intelligent tariff @OctopusEnergy i’ve managed to load shift 65% of my electricty to off-peak. I don’t have battery storage or obviously solar. So 17.97p per kWh is really good. 💚🤳

Why don't caravans like the one i'm staying in now come as standard with solar panels on the roof and a 5 kW battery? They aren't cheap to buy, why not build them in? All these caravans for at least 5 months of the year when people aren't home but instead using solar from their

Here we go the 15 panels are all up along with the bird proofing. ☀️ Total 6.1 kW of solar PV. I also managed to persuade one of the roofers to change a tile on a totally different area of roof! 👏 He cleaned the gutters too!! There was a lot of gunk from the field behind!

Just pulled over to take a photo. There are so many of turbines 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 They make me happy. For every 8 spins a home can be fueld for a day! I co-own a turbine about 20 minutes away thanks to @RippleEnergy I’ll be driving past a solar farm owned by @OctopusEnergy in 2 mins ;-)💚

I’ve owned my Tesla just a few days over a year. Chexked my #tesla app and compared to driving a petrol car I have saved £2012 in fuel! Just had the road tax and for now it’s 0. No one mention the car insurance though.🤣
