The new canon is that Jonathan is the one with the headband. Here's Araki's reference sheet. Araki has talked that he liked to make every character to have distinct silhoettes and I guess this is his way to turn the 2 earliest Jojo into distinct silhouettes.

@dogparkdesu No blame must be put on the severely underpaid translators. 100% of the blame is at Netflix, choosing to pay a translator so bad that they have no time to go back and review their work. They also don't vet the translators. IIRC (don't quote me) they get paid about $15-25 per ep.

I love that jonathan and dio canonically have children together.. With many ships you have to work around canon family/love interest with children, essentially stealing their child(ren) and replace the love interest But with djd they have biological children *together* in canon
