The voice actress for Jolyne, Fairouz Ai, is half Egyptian and half Japanese. She moved from Egypt to Japan during high school. In JOJO magazine, Fairouz said that Stardust Crusaders made her more proud of her Egyptian lineage, especially the character of Avdol.

In Japan, it is the now 37th birthday of Shoko Nakegawa. She is an avid JoJo fan. She has had Araki draw her hypothetical child with the Part 3 Protagonist, and when she broke her tailbone attempting a JoJo pose during a concert, she continued the show.
