Spouse has COVID since Sat. I set up Telehealth to get Paxlovid. THE PROVIDER PRETTY MUCH TALKED HIM OUT OF IT! Shared that it causes rebound & he’s not that high risk 😖 He’s 58, lifelong asthma, high bp (controlled), and has PFO (heart). What the fuck are we even doing? 1/2

Had ultrasound and woman in the seating area asked about my mask, “I like your mask. Is that an N95?” Well, yes it is! I asked her if she wanted one & pulled it from my purse. She was thrilled and told me her name. I coached her on how to put on properly. Gave her one more to go.

MRA today of head and neck. Here is my modified mask game. Couldn’t wear AURA in the machine so took the nose metal out of this KN95, then used wig tape to entirely border seal the mask. Wore eye mask/shield and earplugs too. #COVIDisAirborne #Disabled

Paxlovid update! Well, it’s over $1500, which is not possible for us. So, I called local PH & they suggested PAXCESS, the program by Pfizer to help pay. Spouse info approved and we shall see what happens next when he returns to pharmacy. 😒
