Last month we had several rescues in the Sespe Wilderness, a 219,700 acre refuge. Protected in 1992, it has a long history with the Chumash people, mining, and is about 18% of Ventura Counties land mass. The Sespe Creek is the last remaining undammed river in SoCal. at 31.5 miles
