This week two convicted fraudsters were handed a confiscation order totalling over £650,000 in relation to the police investigation known as Operation Lavender.
The Royal Court has sentenced a 39-year-old man to 9.5 years in prison after he was found guilty of rape and sexual touching. He was also placed on the Sex Offenders Register for 15 years and has been recommended for deportation on his release.

A 40 year old woman has been sentenced to 9 months in prison and a compensation order of £7,500.
Between 9th February 2023 and 29th March 2023, Fiona Le Clercq stole a total of £7,500 by making 25 separate ATM withdrawals using her elderly, vulnerable victim's bank card.
