I was was on trauma call @ZSFGCare when I heard what was happening on 9/11. Saw the second plane hit the building. Received a panicked call that a family member was in the building . He died when the twin towers fell on him. We remember Winston Grant. #911Remembered

I have some news. I have tested positive for COVID19 after an exposure I had. I am self isolating and taking paxlovid and hoping for a speedy recovery. Glad that I am fully vaccinated and boosted twice. The new omicron variant is really infectious.

As an ICU doctor and trauma surgeon with medicine training I can easily say that #GeorgeFloyd did not die from carbon monoxide poisoning. He died from over 9 minutes of a knee on his neck that lead to his death. He was strangled by a police officer. Dr Tobin is correct.

Today the mass shooting was horrific and the person who did it is in custody. The whole situation is terrible. Jayland Walker was shot at 90 times with 60 wounds and he is dead. As a trauma surgeon I have not seen some shot so many times. One is white(alive) one is dead(black)

Back pain and discomfort is common in surgeons. We need to me more proactive in the OR. Everyone should be comfortable when they operate. Step stools when needed.When I was a resident operating with faculty 1 ft shorter he said “bend over”. 4 hours later back pain.Not acceptable!

A few thoughts on the Pandemic of COVID19 Do not ingest cleaning products to kill the virus it is not safe and to will kill you. Do not inject them either Do not use UV light on your skin. Wash your hands, social distancing, stay at home #COVID19 . Testing for all!
