New on #bioRxiv : Our new manuscript “Sexual representation of social memory in the ventral CA1 neurons”. Led by @hi_ni_hikaru and @taoizm . vCA1 neurons encode the identities and social properties (sex and strain) by rate and theta-based temporal coding.

Our new manuscript "Conditional knockout of Shank3 in the ventral CA1 by quantitative in vivo genome-editing impairs social memory" is on #bioRxiv We proposed the idea that a certain threshold of normal vCA1 neurons is necessary to form social memory.

@zztKZW9acCAH91 実際のところ、論文を書くためには数多くの論文を読まないといけませんし、読むことを否定するつもりは全くないです！ただ、研究を何のためにしているかというゴールはブレてはダメで、いつも「論文を書くために、全ての研究時間が存在している」ことを意識させるアドバイスだったのだと思います。
