When preparing for the off-season it's generally best to work backwards from the end goal. Where do you want to be, come the first game (not the pre-season games) but the first actual game? Nobody remembers the team that won its pre-season games by a massive margin

Get RID of the gimmicks in strength and conditioning. Stop having your athletes run on the sand. Stop having them use a "speed" ladder. They do not help your athletes move faster/better on the field. In fact you are making them worse when you do so. #StrengthCoachNetwork #SCN

We have seen too many coaches who program too extreme percentages for the time of the year for their athletes. This happened because the coaches did not account for how hard the lift will be considering the athletes are playing their sport.
