Officers patrolling Loch Rannoch on Saturday came across this campsite which appeared to have been abandoned in a hurry. If the former residents would like to reclaim the pungent bag of green vegetation they left behind, then pop into Pitlochry Police Office for a wee chat.
@bobservant
The only belter here is yourself Bob - you were actually told it was blindingly obvious you would end up in the cells if you continued to rubber-ear the regs. Looks like The Servant Suite at Bell St will be needed yet again......
A sad day as we say goodbye to our friend and colleague PC Dean Morrison, who died in a tragic accident on last month. His funeral is today in Carnoustie, and is being attended by family, friends, and colleagues from his 16 years as a police officer. Goodbye and thank you Dean.

@bobservant
REALLY Bob? You're having a go at us when we saved your life? The queue of your disgruntled former customers who wanted to loose the arrow was stretched back to Wattie Watt's old showroom in Brown Street! The lack of gratitude here is galling.
Thankless job, being the Polis...
We're pleased to confirm that, following a post in the early hours of this morning, the Control Room's missing Caps Lock button has been traced safe and well. Thanks to the dozens of you who expressed concern for its whereabouts.

So let's see - drink driving, failing to report an accident, and driving other than in accordance with terms of insurance policy. And more likely Barnhill than Berlin. We'll be along for a "chat" in a wee while....

@bobservant
No, Robert.
No.
You were told to behave yourself, otherwise you would be SERVED Christmas lunch in one of our exclusive secure single-occupant dining rooms at the Bell Street Hilton.
There's a BIG difference. We ho-ho-hoped you'd have learned that by now...🤢🎅

Hmmm. Strange how we recall throwing you out of the public enquiry office with the instruction to "stop rolling about, the cleaner just polished the floor and you're making a mess of it."
If you fancy doing gymnastics Bob, go to the McTaggart Centre, not Bell Street.
DEATH OF OFFICER ON DUTY
We are deeply saddened to confirm the death of one of our officers while on duty yesterday.
PC Roy Buggins (51) had 29 years’ service as an officer, and was a highly valued and well-respected member of the Montrose and Brechin Community Policing Team.
@bobservant
The one time - ONE TIME - we let Bob out of his cell to push the breakfast trolley around the custody area, and he thinks he’s at a catering job. Never again.
One of our

Hostilities currently suspended Mr Servant, as we have bigger burgers - sorry, fish - to fry at the moment. Wash your hands, ensure there's 2m distancing at the van, and behave yourself. Just because we're busy elsewhere doesn't mean we're not watching....
Our colleagues in Skaro Division have deployed their Direct Action Local Enforcement Kops to ensure everyone is following guidelines about isolation and social distancing. We recommend everyone uses their Totally Awesome Rightly Distanced Isolation Systems to comply.
@bobservant
We’ve heard your Humoerdinck on numerous occasions Bob - and every time you give it “Please Release Me” we just have a wee chuckle and ignore you.
@bobservant
Didn't you announce this a few months ago then cancel at the last second for "personal reasons"? Anyway, feel free to carry on, Robert. We're sure our colleagues south of the river will be pleased to see you. Just remember that littering is a £40 fixed penalty fine....
@bobservant
Well Bob, you've certainly experienced our special hugs before. With a pair of shiny metal bracelets to go with them.
Of course, others might describe it as a "restraint wrist lock," but to-may-to / to-mah-to.....
@bobservant
Ah yes, Bob's annual pilgrimage to "The Servant Suite" at Bell Street after a creme de menthe too many at the annual Van Vendor's Christmas Night Oot. Enjoy your Pot Noodle, Robert. Play your cards right and we'll let you out before the shops shut.
ANYONE LOST AN ARMY?
These wee warriors were found in Brook St, Broughty Ferry a few days ago and are having a rest from battle in our Lost Property Office at Bell Street. If you're their lost General, call 101 and we'll get your troops back under your command forthwith.

Stand down Paul - shift’s done👮♂️👏
@bobservant
Bob, when you say “Safeway’s car park”, do you mean the back of the Ferry Markies, or the pure Aldi on Arbroath Road? Asking for some friends....
#licensingvisit
A mysterious “thank you Tayside Police” poster appeared on the gates at Baluniefield in Dundee. A wee bit of detective work revealed this to be the work of 8 year old Jessica Crabb, who lives nearby in Douglas. Thank you Jessica, your kind thoughts and words mean a lot to us. 🌈
@bobservant
Seriously? You’re blaming US? There’s laws in this country Robert. We don’t make ‘em, we just keep ‘em. Get the point?
(See what we did there?)
The quieter roads are not a racetrack. This recorded speed on the M90 near Bridge Of Earn last night was phenomenal - phenomenally STUPID that is. The driver of the black Audi A4 our Roads Policing Unit caught travelling at this speed will now have to explain himself in court.

We normally do our caption competitions over on Facebook, but due to, er, "unforeseen technical issues" we thought we would try and cheer up our Twitter followers instead. Here's Zazu - he's not a polis dug, just a dug belonging to a police officer, who loves a hat. Captions..?

Missing Woman - Can you help us find Lynn McPaul. She hasn't been seen since 11.40pm on Sunday night in Perth Road, Dundee. It's out of character for her not to be in contact with her family. Anyone with any information, please call us on 101.
A young lady called Mackenzie wrote a letter to officers in Dundee, apologising for falsely dialling 999 a few days before. Hoax calls are a serious matter, and fortunately no resources were diverted to deal with her call. Thank you for your honesty and your apology, Mackenzie.
@bobservant
Don't worry Bob. As far as we're concerned you're still in the Fellowship Of Offal Lovers and Collective Local Offstreet WagoNeers. And please do keep your head held high - it's easier for the CCTV cameras to pick you out.

Saving you from yourself Robert, and the public from having to dodge tumbleweeds all night.. And everyone knows that "What's yellow and dangerous? Shark infested custard" is your signature witticism.

Here's one for you - did you hear about the Burger Man who continually flaunted licensing regulations? We brought him in for a grilling.
Here all week.

Happy Burns Night, all.
Remember just before Christmas we introduced our 3 new trainee police pups? Well they're getting big! TPD Kai, now 4 months old, visited the Roads Policing Unit today to say hello.
There's no truth in the rumours that he is already better trained than the traffic cops...🤔🐕
@bobservant
@DundeeCouncil
Bob, you wonder why we try to ensure your full compliance with licensing / trading standards / Env Health laws? Have you seen what one of your burgers did to PC Smith? We rest our case....
