Today we say a final, sad farewell to our Chairman, John Bullough MBE. While his physical presence will be sorely missed, his drive, enthusiasm and commitment to life-saving pre-hospital care in Scotland will remain at the heart of everything we do at SCAA. May he rest in peace.
With 1 month to go, our new Aberdeen-based air ambulance, Helimed 79, gets its 'SCAA' decals before undergoing pre-launch trials. Funded entirely by the people of Scotland, Helimed 79 will deliver more care, more quickly to more people across the country.
SCAA paramedics Rich Garside and John Pritchard were delighted to accept the Pride of Scotland's Emergency Services award on behalf of our charity. This award recognises the significant impact SCAA has made over the past ten years, thanks to the support of the people of Scotland.
A massive thank you to all our healthcare professionals and key workers - we owe you so much. 👏👏👏👏
