Only thing holding back Welsh rugby is Cardiff & Llanelli. They refused to accept regional rugby 25 years ago by issue of legals at WRU and look mess we are in now - Generation of lost fans, unviable structure and worst results in history. Will WRU allow them to do it again ?

We've tried 3 small standalone club sides and a merger. We've given it 20 years. It's quite obviously not working. It's time to stop begging the WRU - a body that represents the whole of Wales - to invest in a system that doesn't represent the whole of Wales. It's utter madness.

Excellent response from Jockey, sensible and balanced. The revised Professional Rugby Agreement (PRA) requires that the pro clubs and WRU do not criticise each other publicly. This applies to staff and board members. Last time I looked Warren Gatland was an employee of the WRU.
