If approved, it would have given the WRU board the option of appointing their own independent chair, someone not elected by the clubs, a person with the skills to head a business which turns over £100m. But it hasn’t got through the clubs.

Start with why. Nobody ever cut their way to growth. The biggest issue in Welsh rugby has been the funding model for the elite game is a residual model, ie whatever money is left over after everything is funded comes to the pro game. Who treats their core product like that 🫣

Very true. The UK needs major surgery if it is to survive. These are Four Nations and sovereignty must be shared, not held by Westminster alone and the constitution needs to reflect that. The alternative is to see Scotland leave, as most of Ireland did.

Interviewed a graduate, student loans, tuition fees and debt before you start in life. Cant we do better? Why not tax people who can afford to pay more, why is this controversial? Don’t we want to live in a meritocratic society where kids from poor backgrounds get a fair go.
