Most people I know in the media view this as hysteria. They simply will not face just how serious it is - which means it’s not reported with the adequate conviction or urgency, as if to do so would be a sign of weakness. The media is failing so spectacularly. #ClimateCrisis

I often wonder what parents will tell their kids as they become teens and adults. The honest answer is mostly that they pretended it wasn’t happening because doing something would have meant time, effort and activism. There again, most younger people are mostly ignoring it too
