@MrMatthewTodd I'm in my 50s, so no longer count as a young person. The seasons have noticeably changed. So have the bugs in my garden. Daffodils flower 2-3 weeks earlier. Fruits ripen earlier. Britain is changing rapidly and in such a relatively short space of time.

@MrMatthewTodd And yet when the young people try to remind the older people of this fact they get slammed and ignored

@MrMatthewTodd Yes, looks shocking how much warmer it is now, compared to over 100 years ago (from Met Office)

@MrMatthewTodd Remember when there were so many bugs they kept splashing on the windshield of the car when you were on the road?

@MrMatthewTodd Yeah it was last year and the year before. And all those bugs have gone due to pesticides not climate change. We just had a long warm summer this year... doesn't mean it's going to be a trend.

@MrMatthewTodd Yet if it's unseasonably cold in June, you roll your eyes and say that's "weather" and we need to learn the difference between weather and climate.

@MrMatthewTodd I distinctly remember Halloween being more than cold enough for a winter coat when I was in primary school ~20 years ago. I've still got the same coat on that I had around May.
