At the end of this year I shall be able to claim my State Pension & retire at 66 years of age. Until then I continue to work 13 hour shifts. Can someone remind the Tories that the State Pension is NOT a benefit, I have paid tax and national insurance for all of my working life.

In 2011 I lost my beloved daughter to breast cancer, she was just 35. It is so very important that we make sure that people with breast cancer get appointments and scans within the 2 week wait period in order to save lives. We cannot trust the Tories with our NHS.

The #GrenfellTowerFire was caused by years of deregulation, austerity & privatisation - not firefighters. To deliver #JusticeForGrenfell , the govt must properly rehome survivors, put people before private profit & confront the ongoing fire threat to communities across the UK.

Very pleased to see this. Trump is appalling & judging by the scale of protests last time a great many taxpayers will be unhappy about funding the cost of his second visit, especially whilst the vulnerable in our society are neglected. Let those who want him here pay to host it.

Remembrance services remind us that men who were fathers, sons or friends died & we should forever be grateful to them & respect their memory. That some people should cheapen that by attacking a decent man for his choice of clothing should be beyond comprehension. Sadly it’s not.

Just absorb that for a minute; £100m spent on trying to sell us a No Deal Brexit; how many foodbank meals could that buy, or Police Officers/ Firefighters/Nurses/Teachers could it pay for?..and whilst 4m people live in deep poverty in a supposedly affluent country?

I wore a face mask today on shift for 7 hours. Yes it made me a bit hot & uncomfortable, but masks are necessary. There was a lot of talk about pulling together at the beginning of the deadly Covid pandemic, why now are people questioning measures which will keep us all safe?

Greening says what this govt has done is transformational. If you’re on Universal Credit, sleeping on the street, waiting in A&E or leaving Uni with £50K worth of debt I think you’d agree with that statement.

Whether you voted leave or remain, nobody in #Lincoln voted for this failure of a deal. The PM has lost the support of her cabinet, her party & parliament. She must call a general election so a Labour government can negotiate a deal that works for the many.

Understand that Browns Pie Shop, Elite in the Bail, Carholme chippy and Arboretum cafe are all operating schemes to support kids who will lose their free school meals in the holidays. Brilliant to see local businesses supporting our community 👍 Just a shame Lincoln’s MP didn’t
