The choice at the next election is clear: 🔵 Lower immigration and control over our borders with the Conservative Party 🔴 Open borders and no plan with the Labour Party

‘She said herself, don’t trust Labour on immigration they want open borders.’ Health Minister, Helen Whately, reacts to Natalie Elphicke defecting to the Labour Party despite her former aversion to Starmer's approach to migration.

People struggling with their health shouldn't miss out on the chance to earn a living or pursue a career. Today we announced 15 areas to pilot our new WorkWell service - helping around 60,000 people with the support they need to start and stay in work.

Caring for a loved one can be a demanding burden - and at the same time one of the greatest acts of love. Our NHS Constitution should recognise the huge role that carers play, and the changes we're suggesting will reinforce our commitment to them.

My vision for social care is rooted in communities - it’s personal, local and accountable. It's not just a vision though. Our reforms are turning it into a reality. Brilliant to speak at @1adass 's event last week about our plan. Read my full speech 👇

Thanks to the hard work of NHS staff, today's stats show we are continuing to make progress on waiting lists. This represents the biggest 5-month fall in over 10 years outside the pandemic. Much more to do but we will stick to our plan to cut waiting lists.

🚨Labour have finally admitted they would scrap our childcare plans. This would cause huge uncertainty for working parents who are set to save £6,900 a year. But yet again, they’ve refused to say what their plan is. Only the @Conservatives have a plan to back working parents.

It was a pleasure to meet so many people motivated to tackle dementia at yesterday's roundtable @10DowningStreet . We are committed in our mission to beat dementia. The late Barbara Windsor's husband, Scott Mitchell, will be an invaluable voice as the People's Champion.

A real pleasure to meet some incredible young carers yesterday to mark  #YoungCarersActionDay . Young carers face immense responsibilities, and their courage and determination never cease to inspire. We're working across government to get them the support they need.

Our plan for the social care workforce is well underway. Record funding, a nationally recognised career structure, and brand new training and qualifications. Sticking to the plan will mean a huge amount more progress to come.
